Another problem: telling what widget has focus is a bit difficult, especially when you mostly tab around with a keyboard.
Wow. I thought this theme might be horrible from the little preview thumbnail but I actually like it a lot. I love the lack of gradients and bevelling. Everything is nice and flat, with solid lines and a kind of floatingness delimiting widgets. I really love how tabs are highlighted (they float!). There are a lot of useful, light shadowing, and menus have a neat contrast and kind of exist separated from each other.
If you have grown to loathe raised and sunken relief buttons and frames, or if gradients grate at your eyes, this is sweet salvation (unless you hate orange. Aw well).
Also, it is relatively quick to render. And scroll bars are a bit less well-defined :|

Hi,

first let me say thanks for your kind words and even more for the detailed comments.
II'm gonna remove the current "normal" focus (the little triangle) and exchange it for the bigger square I use for the default buttons.
As for the color. I already made a pale version, that is less colorful, but it's still in the submission loop.
Oh and can you elaborate on the not very well-defined critique about the scrollbars? I don't understand what you mean.
Thx.
