solving the problem with pixmap:

sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf

Thanks pal, keep using Gnome, I'm glad if this theme could convert you. :)

This theme is indeed a little bloated and extreme to become a "default theme", but can be a choice for those who'd like to try something else than usual gnome simplicity.

This would be a great default theme for Gnome for all the new distros out there. Convinced me to stay and use Gnome all the way! Great job! :)
