looks nice, some kind of welcome to Edubuntu.

Very nice icons! Unfortunately I had to stop using them. The sort ascending and descending icons are switched in appearance from their normal meaning, so they are very confusing when used with Gnumeric.

Ooooh no !!!
I updated from my old Ubuntu Dapper to Feisty Fawn, and the Firefox Icon is missing. This one is the best of gartoon, just love it. I use gartoon all the time :)
Seems, that it is not your fault, the icon is still there but not displayed by GNOME, same as the thrash.

Thanks,
Frederick

Gartoon is rocks! And Zeus too :)

Maybe that's useful add some most icons to general common programs (for example: feed aggregator, e-mail client, browser, music player and so on), that's no a big problem, I use general icons for some programs (for example: I use the letter icon for the evolution, I use the music note for rhythmbox, and so on).

Some common programs needs icons, programs like banshee (http://www.banshee-project.org/Main_Page), inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/), Gaim (http://gaim.sf.net), f-spot (www.f-spot.org), etc, etc... (that's an example, maybe gartoon have some of these program icons, I can't check it at the moment).

PS: Gartoot is too beautiful :)

I really like these icons - would you consider making an alternate version with more pastel colours? I find the dark green icons to be especially biting with most gtk/metacity themes on my desktop. Or if you made a version where the green icons are blue, that would work.

Very very very good work, please keep on to work at it,
it has best chances to be next gnome default icon set...

These really are a great. Very easy to see and distinguish between programs. The art is fun and of very high quality. Ubuntu users: I had trouble installing these by copying them to my ~/.icons directory. Instead, use the gnome theme manager to import the .tar.gz file--you don't even have to upzip it!
