Awesome theme..... is now my default
. I didn't have any troublewith stripes disappearing.
ouch, xml code seems to have been edited out. one more try, replace "["/">" with "":
[tile name="title_tile" tile_width="width" tile_height="2" x="1" y="1" width="width - 2" height="title_height + 5"/](NL)
line #208 is the last-but-one line of [draw_ops name="bevel_maximized">
The bug with missing stripes on the maximized window titlebar can be fixed by adding
as line #208 (the last-but-one line of ) into Clearlooks-Pinstripe/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml
on my desktop the stripes disappear when the window is maximized (= looks like classic clearlooks when maximized)
SoN1C, maybe you can.
It's not hard. It's an xml file, easy to tweak. And there are some good tutorials. Like this one:
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/tutorials/metacity/metacity-themes.html
to help you on your way.

Where are these so-called pinstripes supposed to be? They aren't in the them nor do they show up in your example on this page.
They aren't here either. -->> http://art.gnome.org/images/thumbnails/metacity/MCity-Clearlooks-Pinstripe.png
