One of the coolest borders around, I do not prefer OS-alike-copied stuff, but this is my fav for 3+ years. 5* 's

jmcknight: Try to understand this theme is in archive and came from old gnome art page. Themes in archive are really old and it is really hard to check all themes.
To check one section takes about 4 or 5 hours. If you found any problems with any theme, let us know please (you should just add comment and click on Report Abuse, I'll see it in administration). Thanks. I'll check this theme.

This is interesting. Thx for the comments and help btw. I've never had any problem with this tarball, and I certainly never made anything executable. Must have been done in an backup/archive of the a.g.o. or something I guess? I'm getting 755 permission of the dir as well, so no prob here with that either.

This is an excellent theme but the way it's packed is terrible. The directory it creates doesn't have 755 permissions and some of the PNG files in it have executable permissions which is totally unnecessary.

First of all, thank you Billy for this great theme.
The error is due to wrong premisions on the theme folder.

For the newbies here are the details on how to get it working:
To install this theme simply unzip the .tar.gz file,

tar xvzf MCity-DarkX-2s.tar.gz

then change the permisions of the folder

chmod 755 DarkX-2s

and move it to the ./themes folder in /home//
(if it doesn't exist simply create it)

Now you can select it in Theme Preferences -> Theme Details -> Window Border

Enjoy :)
