In case anyone wants to see them in something other than black, and with the fade showing better, then comparative screenshots of Clearlooks 2 and Clearlooks Blend are available on my website using the Clearlooks-Cairo 6x GTK theme ( http://www.ibboard.co.uk/themes/ )

derail: If you use Beryl you should be able to do it if you install and use Heliodor instead of Emerald as your window decorator. It runs normal Metacity themes under Beryl, but I've got an ATi card with the proprietary drivers so I can't use the standard Fedora Core "enable desktop effects"
