I made it from scratch, trying to keep the same feel of the classic one.

or if you are on Ubuntu like me, just:
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine

I made one that looked nearly the same some years ago, while practicing with caustics; at first I thought it was that one!
Try to make one ring silverish

I've noticed that the theme behave differently on different versions of Clearlooks engine.
I've made the theme on Ubuntu Edgy (engine v. 2.8), where the selected menu items are light green, while in Dapper (engine 2.7) they appear dark grey.

ATM I have no more Dappers here, so it will be difficult to make a Dapper specific package, but I'll try.

@ pherseu: you have to select the theme from the "theme details" window in order to apply it to the desktop.

hmm... the 1400x1050 one actually is 1200x1600, and the Tango Project href is missing a "g".
Something must have gone wrong with the uploading process, admin fix it please
